“Final”ly, it’s over!

25.11.08

My last paper – Introduction to Accounting Principle took place today.

This whole week, I seemed to “live for” this paper.

The day before the exam, I couldn’t help myself to stop thinking about my “after-the-exam schedule”.

It kept frustrating my attempt to do my revision.

Anyhow, I carried it through.

Concerning the paper this time, I have probably screwed it up.

cuz the questions were so tough and tricky.

Even the accounting students think the questions were tough.

Anyway, I have nth to repent of cuz I have already tried my best.

To celebrate the finished final exam, we went to Kuala Perlis to try the well-known seafood meal.

We rented two “kereta sapu” cuz there were 10 of us, including Jun, Jian Ning, Hong, Hami, Boon, Hua, Chun, The Dog, and one Dun-know-wat-his-name-is.

During the journey, we had a slight “accident”.

One of our cars was running out of gas.

So damned funny!

In order to “save” the car, the other car had to go to the nearest petrol station to buy petrol.

Luckily, problem was solved soon after the petrol was bought.

None of us was familiar with the road to KP.

So again, it was very lucky for us to reach our destination safe and sound.

The restaurant was called Hai-Tien (Sea-Sky).

My first impression of it was shabby and dilapidated.

It seemed as if it’s going to shatter anytime.

However, the food there was exceptionally delicious.

(Food we’ve ordered.)

The fried You-Tiao was the most delicious one.

Thinking of it now made me drool.

(We took pic after the excellent meal!)

Jun was taking the Da Bau.

We reached our hostel at around 10pm.

What a tiring day!

Alone!

20.11.08

Starting from today (till 25th), I have to live alone in Room #302,

Cuz all of my roommates already went home tonight.

At first, I thought this was going to be good to me, cuz I think I can focus 100% on my account revision without any distraction.

I guess I was wrong.

Cuz I’m freaking lonely now!

No more hullabaloo raised by Nano.

And no more Japanese songs and “Bleach” cartoon animations played by Keong.

The room just feels so empty now.
.
.
.
Telling u secretly,

Tonight I’m going to sleep at Boon’s room (which is opposite to my room).

It’s not like I’m timid as a hare to sleep alone,

It’s just because few days ago, we had a “UUM Ghost Story Convention” where we talked about ghost stories which are primarily concerned with UUM.

Frankly speaking, those stories really did freak me out.

I also hav learned some Pantang from the ghost stories.

Pantang#1: try to put sth on ur cupboard so tt it wont look so empty.

If not,

~someone would sit on it and watch u when u r sleeping~

Pantang #2 : try to put sth on ur mattress as well when u left for s'where.

If not,

~someone would sleep on it and occupy that bed~

Anyhow, today I mainly spent my time with two of my beloved roommates.
We went to have lunch in Subaidah.

Then, we, Alex Keong, Nano, Jun and I had our last DOTA battle (for this sem).

At night, we had dinner at TNB.

Then, 10pm plus, Alex, Boon and I sent Nano and Keong off at University INN.

(Pic we took b4 Keong and Nano (green arrow) left.)

5 more days to go,
by then it’s my turn to go home after my last paper.

What I should do now is Gambatei for my last paper.

GAM GAM GAM, GAMBATEI!

Steamboat Again ^-^

7.11.08
Yea!
Another steamboat gathering.
Today, Wan Sin, Si Mung, Shu Yun and I had a Small Bentong Gathering by having dinner in Chang Lun.
I'll let the photos do the talking...
Wan Sin with the food.
Variety of Food served.
Even I could decoct a better soup than this one.
The spicyness wasn't enough, neither was the sourness.

Beloved Shu Yun and Wan Sin.

Me n Si Mung.

It cost us RM50 for whole set of steamboat.

Though it wasn't the typical type of steamboat that we used to have, it still counted as NOT BAD.

Overall, this has been a day to remember, for four of us.

Beyonce vs Obama

6.11.08

What is the biggest events happening recently?

I’m sure many will say it is the “Obama became the first African American”.

Well, if u ask me, I would have to answer –“ the debut of Beyonce’s single –If I were a boy/single ladies”.

It’s not that I’m not concerned about the political world.

I do really think Obama has done a good job.

Congratulation to Obama!

He showed the world, especially our COUNTRY that irrespective of race and religion, nothing is impossible with hard work and determination.

Anyway, in my perspective, I think the debut of Beyonce’s new single is bigger.
(cuz she is the BEYONCE)

Talking about the songs,
I am totally absolutely wholly in love with the song – If I Were a Boy.

It’s such a great ballad.

The bootylicious super diva reckons she'd make a better man than any of the cheating, selfish gits she's run into in her time.

The video of the song is kinda like “Freaky Friday”.

In the beginning of the video, a guy (I guess he was Ms Knowles’ husband in the video) makes Ms Knowles breakfast and she kinda dun hav time to eat.

She is playing a role as a police officer who does things that hurt her significant other, like not answering his phone and flirting with other guy.

It made her look wanton and I kinda dun like it.

However,
at the end of the clip, I realized that Ms Knowles was acting out his life and he was a cop and everything that occurred was really him doing the same things to her.

Dramatic yet interesting.
