Kiehl's tries to tell Anya Hindmarch that when it comes to doing a good deed for our environment, plastic isn't neccesarily the enemy.
Well, this is what i read in the latest Kiehl's newsletter.
It's a bit appalling to me to read this in the first place.
Since public's consciousness of eco-frenly shopping has been raised by Anya Hindmarch in 2007, most of us take PLASTIC as our #1 enemy.
It took me half an hour to truly understand what's the ultimate motive behind this hype.
Obviously, this time around, recyling is no longer a hit.
Soon, upcycling is going to be all the rage.
This upcycling thing is actually the concept for this bag.
It encourages consumers to take something that is disposable and transform it into something of greater use and value.
And u only need to fork out RM28 to get this sturdy, utilitarian, eco-frenly bag, which is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
Honestly, I begin to like this kinda products.
Just like I'm-not-a-plastic-bag, this reusable Kiehl's bag combines fashion with the concept of eco-frenly.
It not only raises the awareness about importance of recycling/upcycling, but it also spread/upgrade the sense of fashion among the people.
So, while u r trying to be eco-frenly, u can also look fashionable.
This is certainly killing two birds with one stone...
Well done, Kiehl's!
